The rise and fall of the han dynasty
- The Hans rules for a very long time. It lasted because:
- In order to unify the country they used assimilation which is the process of making conquered peoples part of Chinese culture.
- To promote this they moved cultured farmers into non cultured area's .
- Several writings where used to unify everyone.
- Women had roles of being wives,nuns, and scholars. The Han's Fell because:
- The rich took advantage of the poor by putting them into debt by owning there land
- During this politics grew uneasy because of different plans to become the new ruler.
- Wang Mang,a Confucian scholar and member of the court over threw the Hans.
Than The Hans came back into power because
- A giant flood killed thousands and left millions homeless.
- People started to rebel including the wealthy
- Rebels assasinated Wang Mang
- New emperor chosen and the Han Dynasty Flourished again
